What is The Faith Creative? The Faith Creative is a week long experience for people of all ages. The goal of this event is for participants to experience, practice, and grow in three areas: community, creativity, and faith. This is an experience for individuals, small groups and families. Throughout the week participants will interact with our leaders: Rev. Dr. Audrey West, Jonathan Rundman, Dr. Dawn Rundman, Tangled Blue, Pastor Nate & Gina Toso, and a number of artists and creative individuals we are still contacting… the short list includes potters, painters, dancers, musicians, storytellers, and educators. We hope you’ll join us in August!

When/Where is The Faith Creative? The first Faith Creative gathering will be on August 2-6, 2015 at the Heartwood Retreat and Conference Center in the north woods of Wisconsin!
What will I do at The Faith Creative? There will be daily presentations and activities with our lead artists. With over 15 miles of hiking trails spread out over 700 acres of forest, the 24-hole Namekagon National Disc Golf Course, basketball courts, sand volleyball, mountain bikes, kayaks, canoes, a private lake with a sand beach, and access to the Namekagon River you won’t run out of new activities throughout the week.

How much does it cost? $250 – $350 depending on lodging choice. All meals and on-site program activities are included in the registration fee, so there will be very few additional expenses outside of participants desire to purchase creations from our lead artists or rent an inner tube to float down the Namekagon. The Faith Creative is being made affordable through the generous support of Thrivent Financial.

How did The Faith Creative get started? Our core leaders have a wealth of experience in leading retreats, and came together around a desire to create a multigenerational experience that focuses on the crossroads of faith and creativity. They are applying all they’ve learned at great sites like the Luther 500 FestivalOutlaw Ranch, and Holden Village to The Faith Creative experience.
